Kris Henker develops and presents team building workshops and staff training sessions for corporate groups, small businesses and youth development agencies, incorporating Applied Neuroscience, Positive Psychology and Management Theory into all her training and facilitation work. She has worked in the experiential education field for 30 years and served as Director of Outdoor Education at Frost Valley YMCA and as the Director of the Jungai Center, a center focused on Aboriginal culture and outdoor education in Australia. Kris has presented at Experiential Education, Risk Management and YMCA Conferences both nationally and internationally. She is also a Program Director at the Professional Development Foundation based out of London, England where she works closely with their Master and Doctoral Candidates. Kris has a MS in the Neuroscience of Leadership from Middlesex University, UK.
John Harrits has over 25 years of business experience during which he volunteered his time to youth organizations. In 2001 he formed his own company which specializes in developing leaders and teams. Approximate two thirds of his business involves working with for-profit and not-for-profit administrators and staff to develop programs and goals in the areas of leadership and team building, the other third of the business is working directly with youth and young adults to develop leadership, decision making, problem solving, communication and teamwork skills. John has a MS Degree in administrative leadership and team building development.<< New text box >>
